Donald S. Gottlieb

Donald Gottlieb, OD, is an optometrist at Dr. Gottlieb Optometry and works out of his practice in Lakewood, California. He specializes in diagnosing, treating, and managing eye diseases, and is certified in glaucoma and red eye treatment. He’s also a leading provider of vision therapy for conditions such as convergence insufficiency.

A fourth-generation optometrist, Dr. Gottlieb joined the family practice in 2010 after earning his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern California School of Optometry at Marshall B. Ketchum University in Fullerton, California. He received his undergraduate degree in psychology at the University of California, San Diego.

During his studies, Dr. Gottlieb completed externships at the Southern Arizona VA Health Care System in Tucson, Arizona; for the Navy in San Diego; and with James Hawley, OD, in Rolling Hills Estates, California. In his free time, Dr. Gottlieb enjoys playing video games, watching football, scuba diving, snorkeling, and heading out in his car to discover new places.
